Below are details of the cottage and it's facilities together with a few photos to give you a feel for the place.

Washing facilities

Bathroom, with bath, hand basin, lavatory, heated towel rail and electric heater
Through a separate entrance:
Shower room with shower, hand basin, lavatory, heated towel rail and electric heater
Automatic washer/dryer (works best with liquid or micro-system detergents)
Large drying room with electric heater and clothes pulley rack.
Note that towels are not provided, but bath mats are. (Towels can be provided at extra cost - see conditions of let for details.)

Heating and water

All rooms have electric heaters with controllable time clocks.
There are storage radiators in the hall and the sitting room..
There are open fires in the kitchen/sitting room and in the school room. We provide one free sack of coal, a little kindling and a few firelighters to start you off on arrival. You can buy more in Portree and Broadford, or we can sell you extra sacks.
The cottage and school room are fully double glazed.
There is a private water supply with a UV sterilisation and filtration plant.
Hot water is provided by immersion heaters and time clocks, and the shower heats its own water.
